How AI & Data Science Is Taught

Welcome to the ScholarDigit Workplace Simulation

One synthetic company. Multiple departments. Realistic problems. Instead of disconnected weekly exercises, learners work inside a connected fictional enterprise: HR policies, finance approvals, sales pipelines, customer service escalations, IT tickets, security incidents. The company is fictional. The work isn't.

Sample Workplace Ticket

You are a Junior AI Automation Analyst. The Client Services team receives repetitive customer inquiries and wants to reduce response time.

Design an AI-assisted triage workflow using the supplied inquiry dataset and company policies. The system must classify requests, identify urgent cases, draft grounded responses, and escalate sensitive or uncertain cases. External responses cannot be sent without human approval.

Not “write five prompts using ChatGPT.” A real brief, the kind someone actually receives on the job.

Failure-First Learning

We intentionally make AI fail

Most courses only demonstrate AI when everything works. We also teach what happens when it doesn't, because knowing how to use AI is only half the skill. Knowing when not to trust it is the other half.

Missing information

The AI doesn't have enough evidence to answer. Learners have to recognize that, not paper over it.

Hallucinations

The response sounds convincing but isn't supported by the source material.

Conflicting documents

Learners must determine which information is actually authoritative.

Prompt injection

Untrusted content attempts to manipulate the AI workflow. Learners test for it.

Privacy boundaries

Some information should never enter an unapproved AI system in the first place.

High-risk decisions

Sometimes the correct solution is not to automate the decision at all.

Cybersecurity

Protect systems, networks, and data in an increasingly digital world. Learners train on realistic scenarios, not just theory.

  • Network & systems security fundamentals
  • Threat detection & incident response labs
  • Governance, risk & compliance basics
  • Certification-aligned exam preparation
